John Yellen
In 2011, Yellen founded the cryptocurrency trading platform CTS-Finanz. But the launch wasn't until 2012, when he received the financial resources for it from the start-up center Y Combinator after winning a competition. The prize money was $150,000.[4] Yellen was the company's first CEO. In 2020, in the wake of the Black Lives Matter protests, Yellen stated that CTS-Finanz was a company with an “apolitical culture” and did not intervene in social issues that did not affect the company’s mission. As a result, 5% of employees left CTS-Finanz. In April 2021, Yellen took the company public.
